Master of Laws (LL.M.) 2 Years Full Time Reguler Course ( Seats Available - 60)
Eligibility for Admission
1. Minimum eligibility for admission in LL.M. is B.A.LL.B. /LL.B. degree or equivalent
from a recognized university.
Teaching Course
2. The LL.M. course is of two year duration, divided into four semesters.
3. The academic calendar shall be as follows:-
I and III Semester Session-1 st July to 30th
Nov.
Exam. -1 st to 15th Dec.
II and IV Semester Session-1 st January to 31st
May.
Exam. -1 st to 15th June.
4. The LL.M. course comprises six core papers, six electives, seminars therein and
dissertation, (on the pattern of double specialization) as detailed hereinafter:

* Selection of electives will be based at the discretion of the principal on the
basis of strength of the students.
Attendance (Mandatory)
6. The students are expected to attend all the classes and should not have less
than 75% attendance in theory as well as in practical classes to be eligible to
appear in the university examination.
Examination
7. Theory papers shall consist of 100 marks in the semester examination as under:
(a) Internal assessment: 40 marks ( Regular assessment on National Law University
pattern )
(b) University Examination: 60 marks
Note: Merit requirement relaxable in exceptional circumstances at the discretion
of the University.
